Hey Tom, I’ve gotten through two vids so far. First, I wouldn’t worry too much about your height issue. You’re installing a pump so you could easily transfer to any height. Of course, I understand why gravity is preferred.
On the nat gas hose, i’ve been using the same goodyear utility hose for over a year. I’ve hacked a piece off recently and compared to a new piece… no degradation that I can see. Like you said, half a day duty cycle per month or so.. no biggie. YMMV, don’t take my word for it
